The United Kingdom passed Pfizer’s vaccine candidate this week and will shortly begin rolling it out to the public. This messenger RNA(mRNA) type of vaccine carries synthetic genetic material enveloped in lipids to be transfected through your cell wall. The way the transfection takes place is through the use of Poly ethylene glycol or PEG.
PEG is mostly known by the public for it’s use in Antifreeze products for your car radiator. Ethylene glycol is the main ingredient in antifreeze and is used for heat transfer. Thus it is also used in emerging vaccines to TRANSFER through cell membranes whatever the maker wants it to. In the case of Pfizer, they want to transfer “Nucleoside modified mRNA encoding an optimized SARS-CoV-2 full-length spike protein antigen”. This mRNA format is combined with a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation.
And that is where PEG –poly(ethylene glycol) comes in – It is part of “a Lipid nanoparticle formulation” enveloping the mRNA genetic material
As stated previously ex Pfizer professors are appealing to the European Authorities to halt trials of Pfizers vaccine.
One of their claims is to do with the presence of PEG in the vaccine.
What about PEG?
In a 2010 review paper Poly(ethylene glycol) in Drug Delivery: Pros and Cons as Well as Potential Alternatives

They state the following in Section 4
Drawbacks of PEG Polymers
It was already shown in early studies in 1950 that PEG has
the propensity to induce blood clotting and clumping of cells,
which leads to embolism.
PEG, which is not supposed to show any
opsonization, can nevertheless induce specific as well as
non specific recognition by the immune system, thereby
leading to a response of the body to intravenously adminis-
tered PEG formulations such as liposomal and micellar
carrier systems or conjugates.
In summary, PEGylation(use of PEG) will continue to be of significant
value in medicine to decrease immunogenicity, antigenicity,
and toxicity as well as reducing renal clearance. However, it is
important to recognize that PEG may possess antigenic and
immunogenic properties as haptenes, and the close interac-
tion between complement activation and antibody response
should be kept in mind. Further comprehensive studies are
required to fully elucidate the effect of anti-PEG antibodies
on PEG conjugates.
In other words PEG may cause a cytokine storm of inflammation in the human body. It may also cause stroke because of blood clotting.
The authors further state…
It was shown that adverse reactions of PEG often occur through complement (C) activation, which leads to hypersensitivity reactions (HSR) that can provoke an anaphylactic shock. The complement system, which is part of the immune system, is a biochemical cascade….
A Google search of Complement system brings up this…
The complement system has four major function,
including lysis of infectious organisms, activation of
inflammation, opsonization and immune clearance.
PEG can cause an avalanche or cascade of inflammation….the Complement C system is activated against PEG which itself is carrying the mRNA mechanism into your cells to deliver its package. The package is the shared syncytin protein –shared by the virus and also the female human or mammal in the making of a placenta.
This cascade effect which PEG may cause can lead to anaphylactic shock. Of course we should have heard of that happening by now, but haven’t. It will take a while before we know if women have been sterilised by this vaccine as the ex Pfizer scientists claim may happen.
The authors of the above review paper conclude..
All together, a conclusive statement can not be given as to whether PEG alone or a combination of several factors causes hypersensitivity; further investigations are required.
But a search on PubMed does not turn up any studies to find causal evidence of dangers linked to PEG –All you find are papers to promote the use of PEG.
Dr. Wodarg and Dr. Yeadon say that up to 70% of people are allergic to PEG
